Waters Edge is set
in the centre of the main village beach just a short walk from
the harbour where the sailing club and dinghy park is located.
The harbour is a haven for pleasure craft, and a variety of boat
and fishing trips are available. To the east of the main beach
is Coppet Hall Beach, while a short walk along the coast path
leads to the pretty sandy cove of Wisemans Bridge. On the
southern side of the village numerous beaches dotted with rocks
and clear rock pools, including Glen Beach and Swallowtree
Beach, lie between the harbour and Monkstone Point.
